We specialize in designing, supplying, and servicing the doors, frames, and related hardware which make up the operable openings in a building.

Job Description:

The sales associate is responsible for bringing on new business to OSI, as well as cross selling our current customers. Duties include light traveling around eastern Iowa going into businesses and explaining who we are, what we do, and how we can service them. A sales associate must know how to write up quotations, learn the verbiage we use on paper, and be product knowledgeable. Prior knowledge with Allegion suite of products is a major plus. A sales associate is someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales and a proven track record of success, who takes a hands-on approach to building business opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Servicing existing clients calling in looking for full opening (frame, door, closer, lockset, hinges, thresholds, sill sweep, weather stripping, deadlatch, and strike), or a partial opening.
• Servicing walk-in, call-in clients.
• Targeting new clients, going on sales calls, generating sales trips to grow OSI’s presence in the marketplace.
• Attend sales calls with management to observe the sales process.
• Meet potential clients and look at opening they want fixed, listen to what their pains are, what they think the problem is, then tell them what issues are, figure out what their budget is to purchase.
• Pencil information into OSI's Ordering System.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
